Listen

Here is the long awaited musical soundtrack to my ’round the world tour of the same name. Throughout the album, I’ve tried to maintain an intimacy & personability to the sound, emulating the experience you might have catching me performing on street corners of the globe. Thus, the arrangements are extremely stripped back, with the focus on the pure simplicity of melody and tone. The first half of the album is dedicated to varied classical repertoire for violin and/or voice, while the second half consists of some arrangements of folk tunes from the British Isles, padded out with unobtrusive guitar accompaniment and violin improvisations.

I hope that listening will conjure up images of adventures around the world, lonely street corners, friendly strangers, and a yearning for the comforts of home.

If you’d like to support the album release, and my project to bring music to every corner of the world, then you can purchase a copy for whatever price you choose. Large or small, it all goes a long way to pay for my next meal, train fare or violin string!
